CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced that the Nov. 25 meeting between Virginia and Virginia Tech will kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Scott Stadium and will be televised on ACC Network.

The annual rivalry game for the Commonwealth Cup was placed on a six-day hold as the league waited for the outcome of Saturday’s contests before designating a television network and timeslot.

Virginia Tech fell to N.C. State, 35-28 in its home finale while UVA defeated Duke, 30-27. The Hokies can clinch bowl eligibility with a win over the Cavaliers in Charlottesville.

Last year’s Clash was canceled in the wake of the tragic shootings that claimed the lives of DeSean Perry, Lavel Davis, Jr., and Devin Chandler. This will mark the first meeting between Hokies head coach Brent Pry and Cavaliers coach Tony Elliott since both took over their respective positions in 2021.
