BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — A familiar face to Virginia Tech sports fans comes back to help the Hokies football program. Former Virginia Tech men’s basketball head coach James Johnson is the new director of high school relations for the Hokies football program.
Johnson was the head men’s basketball coach at Tech from 2012-2014. He was also a Hokies hoops assistant from 2007-2012. Johnson was a basketball assistant under Kevin Keatts N.C. State staff from 2007-2012.
