Thursday’s UVA/VT women’s basketball game postponed

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) announced on Wednesday that changes will be taking place to its women’s basketball schedule – including postponements, rescheduled games and adjustments to tipoff times and television networks.

On Thursday, Jan. 6, The UVA/Virginia Tech women’s basketball game has been postponed.

Also, the Clemson/Florida State and Georgia Tech/Duke games have also been postponed for Thursday, Jan. 6.

Florida State, Georgia Tech and Virginia are adhering to the outlined COVID protocols within the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available by clicking here.

Following the ACC’s modified 2021-22 COVID-19 Game Rescheduling Policy, the league also announced rescheduled games from postponements from earlier in the season.

  • Miami will travel to Virginia on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.
