Lynchburg men’s lacrosse to host opening rounds of NCAA tournament

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Coming off the program’s eighth Old Dominion Athletic Conference title, Lynchburg men’s lacrosse will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Division III tournament next weekend.

The nationally-ranked Hornets will play Pfeiffer in the first round on Saturday at 1 p.m., with the winner moving on to face either Stevens or Catholic on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Pfeiffer is making its first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning the USA South championship over Piedmont College on Saturday.

Lynchburg marks its 14th appearance in the NCAAs after defeating Washington & Lee in the ODAC final.
