CHARLOTTE, NC – For the first time in 37 games, Liberty rallied from a halftime deficit as the Flames pulled off the comeback defeating East Carolina, 74-64, in the Naismith Hall of Fame Shootout Friday afternoon at the Spectrum Center. Liberty improves to 7-4 on the season, snapping East Carolina’s four-game winning streak, as the Pirates dropped to 8-3 this season. Liberty’s Shiloh Robinson was named the Hall of Fame Shootout’s Most Valuable Player. Darius McGhee scored a game-high 27 points, passing Julius Nwosu on Liberty’s all-time scoring list, moving to No. 19 with 1,267 career points.
