Hokies back to winning ways after road win at Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — With a double-double from Keve Aluma and an impressive team-wide defensive performance, Virginia Tech earned a 62-58 win against Maryland on Wednesday.

The Hokies (6-2) had three players score in double figures, led by Aluma with 17 points. Justyn Mutts tacked on 16 points, while Hunter Cattoor chipped in 12 points.

Virginia Tech returns to action on Saturday opening up ACC play at Cassell Coliseum against Wake Forest. Tip off is set for 2pm.
