AUBURN, AL (WFXR) — Tuesday morning in front of the Auburn Tigers crew and media members, Hugh Freeze was introduced as the tigers new head football coach during the introductory press conference. Freeze said he was thankful for the chance to become Auburn’s new coach. During the press conference Freeze shared his thoughts about his previous role at Liberty University.

“To Liberty, I hope they can hear this message. Working at Liberty the last 4 years for Ian McCaw was one of the greatest joys of our college careers. It came at the right time for our family. It was a beautiful. With the experience. I didn’t know if we could win when we went there. They were transitioning for FCS to FBS. With all of the support there to see if we were able to win a lot of big games and to go to four straight bowl games. To Liberty to Jonathan Falwell pastor Jonathan. President Prevo and the board of trustees and to Ian and to our team and staff there I owe a great debt of gratitude,” said Freeze.
