LEXINGTON, Va. (WFXR/Press Release) — Robert DiSibio led all players with 25 points to go with 11 rebounds and two assists to help Washington and Lee defeat Hampden-Sydney, 79-74, on Saturday at Holekamp Gym.
The Generals opened the second half with 16 unanswered points in the come-from-behind win over the Tigers after trailing 44-38 at the half.
The Generals’ lead was down to seven with just 3:13 left in the contest, and then the Tigers made six straight free throws to trim their deficit to one, 71-70, with 1:34 remaining in the game.
