The Virginia men’s basketball team arrived in Columbia, South Carolina ahead of its NCAA first round game against Gardner-Webb.
The Cavaliers will take the floor on Thursday afternoon at Colonial Life Arena for an open practice after speaking with the media.
UVA is the top seed in the South region and seeks a deep postseason run after becoming the first No. 1 seeded team to lose in the first round last year.
The Wahoos’ contest against Gardner-Webb will be the second game of the afternoon Friday at Colonial Life Arena. The winner will face either Ole Miss or Oklahoma on Sunday.
