BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — She spent nearly all of her life in the New River Valley. And now Britney Anderson is headed on a cross country trip out west.

After a successful career as a basketball player for Blacksburg high school and Virginia Tech, Anderson served as an assistant coach, first at Radford and then for the Hokies.

Now she’s trading the maroon and orange for the Cardinal red at Stanford. WFXR Sports Director Jermaine Ferrell caught up with Anderson as she prepares for her next chapter.
