RADFORD, Va. (WFXR) — A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the death of a two-year-old girl.
According to City of Radford Commonwealth Attorney, Chris Rehak, on Oct. 6, Andrew Byrd was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.
The young girl who passed away was Bryd’s ex-girlfriend’s daughter. She was killed while at his home in April of 2020.
As we previously reported, Byrd was arrested in April 2020 and charged with abduction, strangulation, and assault and battery of a household member.
