Richmond, VA(WFXR) – The Washington Redskins training camp is in full swing in Richmond. One of the busiest places at the camp is the team store.
A local man recently got the gig to run the Washington Redskins team store. Martinsville native Warren Haneline got the surprise of his life recently when he got a call from the Washington Redskins to run their team store at training camp and in Washington as an operations manager. It was an offer he couldn’t refuse! “It was great. they called me to go to Washington to work. and i was like quit kidding me. I was a redskin fan all of my life. I asked are you kidding me. They said no so I packed my stuff up. I went straight up to D.C. the next day and i have been there ever since. Since June 13th,” said Washington Redskins Team Store Operation Manager Warren Haneline. Through the hustle and bustle, it is Haneline’s responsibility to make sure the store is well stocked with Redskins merchandise. “We try to keep the training camp t shirts. we are well stocked the training camp hats. We just inherited it in June. Everything we were playing catch up. We had not expected it. But we are really doing a good job at that. But keeping the footballs stocked here is one of the biggest issues,” said Haneline.
