YOVASO needs your help to keep After Prom Finale alive

News

YOVASO – Youth of Virginia Speak Out – is in the running for a big grant to help them keep high school students safe on prom night, but they need your help getting there.

Every year, State Farm gives $25,000 grants to programs that offer after-prom events to keep kids safe on the road.

YOVASO hopes to get one of those grants for its After Prom Grand Finale.

“They allow you to vote ten times at once every day. Until the 23rd – the 23rd is the last day. And we really want you to use all ten votes on afterprom grand finale because this event saves lives,” said Coordinator Becky Parr.

The group estimates as many as 85,000 students have taken part over the last 31 years. First Team Auto Group donates a new car to the cause every year.
