RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Democratic incumbent Del. Sam Rasoul will continue his role as the District 11 representative in the House of Delegates, defeating Republican challenger Charlie Nave.
Rasoul will begin his fifth term as District 11’s delegate.
This is also the first race that Rasoul faced a non-write-in candidate since his initial term in 2014, when he won a special election and defeated Octavia Johnson after the resignation of Onzlee Ware in 2013.
District 11 includes the City of Roanoke.
