UPDATE: With all precincts reporting, Antonio Hash has defeated LeMajors Hill for Roanoke Sheriff

UPDATE 9:20 p.m.: The Virginia Department of Elections is reporting all absentee ballots have been counted in the Roanoke Sheriff’s primary and Antonio Hash has defeated LeMajors Hill.


UPDATE 8:50 p.m.: The Virginia Department of Elections is reporting that all 21 precincts are reporting in the race for Roanoke City Sheriff; however, with absentee ballots still being counted, the race continues to be too close to call.

As of 8:50 p.m.: Antonio Has has 3,404 votes (53.83%) to LeMajors Hill’s 2,920 (46.17%).


ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The race for Roanoke City Sheriff is too close to call.

With 20 of 21 precincts reporting, Antonio Hash leads LeMajors T. “Lee” Hill by under 200 votes.+

Just over 4,200 votes have been tallied between the two candidates.
