Early voting numbers indicate impressive turnout weeks before November election

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Early voting has been underway for weeks and WFXR News is checking in on the numbers.

In Roanoke, Andrew Cochran, the director of elections, says more than 2,500 voters have already cast their ballot ahead of the Nov. 2 election.

Cochran says you can vote early in-person through the end of October. You can also request an absentee ballot through Oct. 22 with no reason needed.

Voters will cast their ballot for statewide races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and the House of Delegates.
