Wythe County man wins big on VA Lottery Rolling Jackpot ticket

RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Dylan Hale from Max Meadows was working as part of a crew on a power line project in the Culpeper area when he purchased a $10 Print ‘n Play Rolling Jackpot ticket at a 7-Eleven after he finished work for the day.

He ultimately found himself sitting in his car, yelling and honking the horn, celebrating is jackpot win totaling $292,234.

Hale says he has no immediate plans for the winnings. He lives in Wythe County which received more than $2.5 million in lottery funds which goes to K-12 public education in Fiscal Year 2019.

The Print ‘n Play Rolling Jackpot is an instant-win game from the Virginia Lottery that has a starting jackpot of $50,000. The jackpot increases with each ticket sold until the jackpot is won.

The game has three price points including tickets valued at $2, $5 and $10. The $2 ticket can win 20% of the jackpot. The $5 ticket can win 50% of the jackpot and the $10 ticket can win 100% of the jackpot.

For each price point, the odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 240,000.
