BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Students at Virginia Tech will now have more opportunities to give their thoughts on possible increases in tuition and other fees.

The Board of Visitors voted today on amending the by-laws. School officials will now have to hold budget workshops which will include a thirty minute period for people to speak.

That workshop will also have to be held within a month’s notice of possible tuition increases and before any increases are approved.
