Virginia Western announces full classroom capacity and tuition funding opportunities for Fall 2021

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia Western Community College (VWCC) classrooms will operate at full capacity for the Fall semester, which begins Aug. 23.

“We pride ourselves on providing the high-quality, in-person training that our students require to build their skills and knowledge in pursuit of their goals. By opening up more classroom capacity, we can better serve our students and our community,” said Dr. Robert Sandel, President of VWCC. “We will use a layered approach as we continue to strive to protect the health and safety of all our students and employees.”

The in-person instruction will follow guidelines set forth by the Governor’s Office, the Virginia Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control. For students who wish to learn remotely, online learning and online advising will be made available.
