Virginia Tech QB Hendon Hooker Enters NCAA Transfer Portal

News

Freshman Virginia Tech quarterback Hendon Hooker becomes the latest Hokie player to enter the NCAA’s tranfer portal. Hooker made the announcement Wednesday on his Twitter page. Hooker graduated early from Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He redshirted during the 2017 season and appeared in six games, rushing four times for 57 yards and a touchdown. He did not attempt a pass. By entering the portal, Hooker can be contacted by other schools about transferring, but it does not prevent him from returning to Virginia Tech.
