UPDATE: W.V. State Trooper who was shot, discharged from Morgantown hospital

POCAHONTAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WFXR) – West Virginia State Police confirm that Trooper First Class J.M. Tallman, who was shot last week in Pocahontas County has left the hospital on Tuesday and is now recovering at home.

Last week, WFXR News reported that 43-year-old William Biggs fired a rifle at Trooper Tallman during an investigation into another vehicle crash. Tallman was shot in the stomach and returned fire, killing Biggs.
