Roanoke, Va. (WFXR) — United Way of Roanoke Valley is looking for help for its annual Day of Action volunteer event. United Way’s Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED and take action to address a variety of challenges that their communities face.

Community service opportunities are available for just about anyone to help, whether you want to dig in and do something physical and in person or in a group setting. Even those that want to remain socially distant and pitch in right from home are able to do so.

United Way of Roanoke Valley’s Corey Slusher gives details for what the day entails and how community members can get involved in her interview with Living Local Host, Kianna Price.
