PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A Special Grand Jury handed down more than 650 indictments for 191 people earlier this month.
The indictments were part of a two year undercover operation under the lead of the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office.
35 officers from multiple agencies assisted in the arrests of wanted individuals, 40 were taken into custody as of 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. Most are charged with distribution of methamphetamine and heroin, and gun-related charges.
