DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Two 16-year-olds are in custody for shooting a 17-year-old boy in a bowling alley parking lot.
Authorities say the victim was found injured from a gunshot wound on Saturday night, around 10:30, at Riverside Lanes.
Police later learned a fight broke out in the parking lot between the teenagers when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired off rounds.
There is no threat to the public, according to authorities, the suspects know the victim.
Because of their age, the suspects have not been identified. They are facing multiple charges including aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm, underage possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding.
The victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
