ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A woman is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a crash on Interstate 81.

Virginia State Police say Loretta Blevins rear-ended a tractor trailer early Friday morning when she was driving northbound near mile marker 147.1.

State troopers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:00 a.m. Traffic was shut down in the right lane for a little over an hour. The shutdown backed up traffic nearly four miles.

Blevins was charged with Reckless Driving in the crash. Troopers did not say what caused her to rear end the truck.
