The candidates running for Senate for the state of Virginia will answer questions at a Senatorial Community Forum Wednesday night.
The forum between current Senator Tim Kaine (D) and candidate Corey Stewart (R) will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Virginia War Memorial.
Each candidate will speak separately, answering six questions apiece.
The event, which is open to the public, will give residents of the state of Virginia the opportunity to connect, engage and listen to the platforms of each candidate in the areas of Medicaid expansion, the opioid and heroin crisis, government entitlements, prisoner re-entry reform, budget caps, gun rights and infrastructure.
