ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Officials with Roanoke County Schools have confirmed to WFXR News that a threat was discovered in a bathroom at Glenvar High School.
According to Chuck Lionberger, spokesman for Roanoke County Schools, the graffiti threat was discovered this morning. He said there is no lockdown in place, but there is an increased police presence at Glenvar High School, as well as Glenvar Elementary and Middle Schools due to their proximity to the high school.
This is an active investigation, Lionberger said, adding that the threat has not yet been confirmed as substantiated or unsubstantiated.
