BEDFORD COUNTY, Va (WFXR) – Tomorrow, September 26th marks the annual Taste of Bedford Event.
The event takes place from 5- 7 pm at the Bedford Area Family YMCA and follows the annual business expo. The event also marks the Bedford Area of Chamber’s 80th Anniversary.
Coined “the best of Bedford,” attendees can expect a plethora of cuisines from vendors out of Bedford, Lynchburg, Moneta, and even Roanoke, Virginia.
This year a few of the vendors attending are East Coast Wings, Liberty Station, Peaks of Otter Lodge, Edo’s Grill and Sushi, and Bedford’s very own, Blue Lady Cafe.
Sally Hubbard, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Bedford Chamber of Commerce describes it as, “a great way for people to connect. It’s a casual, laid back scene where people can enjoy some tastes and enjoy a glass of wine.”
A $5.00 entry fee includes all “tastes” as well as beer and wine for those twenty-one years of age and up.
There will also be a taste booth competition for “best in taste” and “best taste display.”
