South Boston Police search for person of interest in Saturday stabbing

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WFXR) — Officers from the South Boston Police Department responded to a call about a stabbing on Saturday evening at the 1300 block of Shepherd Street.

According to South Boston Police, at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, authorities arrived on the scene to find “a 23 year old man with a non life threatening injury to his leg.”

Police have obtained warrants against South Boston resident Jessie Ray Bowers, 42, for malicious wounding and assault and battery.
