According to Virginia State Police, a tractor-trailer and Giles County school bus collided in the southbound lanes at mile marker 12 in Washington County.
A Washington County Public School bus is on scene to help relocate students off the interstate.
Three students were transported to Bristol Medical Center after mentioning minor injuries.
