School bus involved in crash, no students hurt

PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) – A school bus carrying students in Pulaski County was involved in a crash, Wednesday afternoon.

The bus was traveling east on East Main St. when it was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet pickup. The truck turned west on East Main St. and that’s when it collided with the bus, police say.

Both the driver and the passenger in the pick up was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, 76-year-old Patricia Hurst Odell, of Draper was charged with failure to yield right of way.

No students were injured.
