ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Police Department responded to a shots fired call and a vehicle crash Sunday morning. Both incidents occurred in the Hunt Avenue area in Roanoke.
The shots fired call came in around 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6. Officers responded and located property damage and other evidence of a shooting. No injures were reported and no arrests have been made regarding this incident.
Almost immediately after the shots fired call, police also received reports of a motor vehicle crash. This crash also happened in the Hunt Avenue area. No major injuries were reported regarding that incident. No charges have been filed at this time.
