Roanoke County Public Library honored as Top Innovator

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Urban Libraries Council announced Roanoke County Public Library is one of Ten Top Innovators during the 2019 Innovations Celebration held on Oct. 17 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The annual award program recognizes leading practices from the council’s member library systems across North America.

Roanoke County Public Library was selected by a panel of expert judges from 260 submissions in ten different categories showcasing out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches involving library resources.

Roanoke County Public Library won in the category of Workforce and Economic Development.
