WASHINGTON (NEWS10) – A report by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation found that 40 percent of Americans could pass a U.S. Citizenship exam.

Among all 50 states and the District of Columbia, the report found only Vermonters (53 percent) were able to pass the U.S. Citizenship Exam. Only 27 percent of those under the age of 45 were able to pass a U.S. Citizenship exam.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) provides sample tests with multiple choice answers for people to prepare for their citizenship exams.

For the actual test, the USCIS says it is not multiple choice and individuals can be asked up to 10 questions in English. In order to pass, an individual must answer correctly six of the 10 questions.

Could you pass a U.S. Citizenship exam? Take the quiz and find out your score. Challenge your friends and family.
