UPDATE: Missing 68-year-old found safely after Senior Alert issued by VSP on behalf of Veterans Affairs

UPDATE 11:44 a.m.: Virginia State Police announced on Thursday morning that missing 68-year-old Jack Phillip Brown has been safely located.


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC/WFXR) — The Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert for a missing 68-year-old man who was last seen at the intersection of 25th and Hull Streets Wednesday morning.

Virginia authorities said the Department of Veteran Affairs Police Department is looking for Jack Phillip Brown, who is about 5’7″ and weighs 135 pounds.

According to Virginia State Police, Brown was last seen at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 and possibly wearing a black crew-neck shirt, black pants, and no shoes.

The missing 68-year-old suffers from cognitive impairment and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his safety.
