UPDATE: State Police cancel Senior Alert after missing Norfolk woman is safely located

UPDATE 4:10 p.m.: Virginia State Police have canceled the Senior Alert, on behalf of the Norfolk Police Department involving Elizabeth Beatrice Berg.

Berg is said to have been safely located.

NORFOLK, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia State Police activated a Senior Alert Wednesday morning for missing 69-year-old Elizabeth Beatrice Berg from Norfolk.

The Norfolk Police Department is looking for Berg after she was last seen at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16 walking away from 1355 Kingston Avenue.

Police say she may have been wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.

According to officials, Berg is 5’2″ tall, weighs about 90 pounds, and has grey eyes and grey hair.

Virginia State Police says Bert suffers from a cognitive impairment and the investigating agency determined her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
