(WFXR) — Do you have any zombie apocalypse survival skills? If you want to stay safe from the undead, Virginia might not be the best place to live, according to a recent study.
CableTV.com compiled a list of the best and worst states for surviving a zombie apocalypse based on population density, the number of farms per capita, and states’ solar electricity percentage.
This comes after the CDC released a zombie preparedness guide, showing Americans still have a taste for the fleshy subject of zombies, despite the global pandemic.
According to CableTV.com, the best bet for survivors is in the Midwest. With fewer people and more farmlands, states like North Dakota, Nebraska, and South Dakota topped the list.
However, with their denser populations and low percentage of solar panel electricity, states on the East Coast — such as New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland — ranked the worst.
Meanwhile, even though the “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” chose to film in Virginia, the Commonwealth was numbered 34th on the list.
