WASHINGTON, D.C. (WFXR) – Virginia Senator Mark Warner expressed his support for a proposed plan by the Federal Communications Commission that would bring affordable and reliable internet to millions of Americans which includes roughly 770,000 Virginians who do not have access to broadband.
In the letter, Senator Warner encouraged the FCC to adopt final rules as more Americans are forced to rely on the internet for telehealth and distance learning, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
