WATCH: Sen. Warner highlights how newly-passed Infrastructure bill will help rural communities in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) addressed citizens on Tuesday in a video that highlighted how rural Virginia could benefit from the passage of the Infrastructure bill that he authored and negotiated along with nine other senators in a bipartisan effort.

In the video, Warner laid out some big promises outlined in the bill, which include some long-awaited fixes to the Interstate 81 corridor, as well as better broadband and railway options reaching beyond the Star City and into the New River Valley and far southwest Virginia.

Warner also says the bill promises to bring more jobs into every community.
