RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Introducing, K-9 Officer Bailey!

This three-year-old Labrador Retriever is featured in a new campaign by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) in an effort to remind people who are hitting the water to wear a personal floatation device.

Life jackets are required anytime you are boating or taking part in paddle sports like kayaking or paddle boarding.

Bailey is also working as an ambassador for the Virginia DWR, so look for her in future safety promotions.
