General Assembly to discuss extending bill allowing restaurants to offer carry-out mixed drinks

RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) — A bill being proposed in Richmond would allow restaurants to offer mixed drinks as carry-out items to be extended.

The temporary provision was made to help restaurants during the pandemic as they were forced to close for indoor dining and place strict limits on the number of customers they could serve.

House Bill 1879 would allow restaurants to continue offering mixed drinks for carry-out until July of 2022.
