RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Kirk Cox, the Former House Speaker in Virginia has announced he is not planning on launching a bid for governor, right now.

In a Facebook post, Cox said he wants to continue to talk with friends and residents of the Commonwealth, as well as working to support an amendment on constitutional redistricting.

“After the policies put in place by Democrats this year, the vacuum of leadership during this health and economic crisis, and the violence and destruction in our streets, it’s clear we need credible and steady leadership.”
