(WFXR) — Even though the winning Powerball ticket was bought in Arizona, Virginia is still cashing in from Wednesday’s drawing.

The Commonwealth saw an estimated $10.6 million from Powerball ticket sales that will benefit K-12 education.

Virginia Lottery News says that more than 35,000 Powerball tickets were purchased for the April 27 drawing. From that drawing one ticket won $50,000, which was bought at a 7-Eleven in Newport News.

The winning numbers from Wednesday night were 11-36-61-62-68, and a Powerball number 4. The jackpot is now reset to $20 million with drawings held on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m
