UPDATE: 3 children found overnight after AMBER Alert issued in North Carolina

UPDATE 5:52 a.m. (7/20/21): An AMBER Alert has been canceled for three children in Asheboro, North Carolina

Asheboro police confirmed that Anthony Bryan Osori Hernandez, Bridget Osorio Hernandez, and Bernardo Gonzalez Hernandez have been found overnight.


ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP/WFXR) — An AMBER Alert has been issued for three children in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Asheboro police are searching for Anthony Bryan Osori Hernandez, Bridget Osorio Hernandez, and Bernardo Gonzalez Hernandez.

The children were first reported missing to Asheboro police around 4 p.m. via a 911 call from North Meadows Loop, according to an Asheboro dispatch supervisor.

The AMBER Alert was issued around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, July 19.

Anthony is a 15-year-old white boy, approximately six feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Bridget is a 14-year-old white girl, approximately five feet three inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Bernardo is a 2-year-old white boy, approximately three feet tall and weighing 45 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the abductor is Olga Diego Hernandez. She is described as a white female who is five feet one inch tall; weighs 135 pounds; and has red hair, brown eyes, and a mole on her left cheek.

They were last seen traveling in a black 2021 Dodge Ram truck with NC registration of TEF-9945.

Asheboro police asked 911 to ping the phones of the missing children in an effort to locate them.
