ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Kroger Mid-Atlantic has announced it is recalling cheese dips sold at stores located in Virginia, West Virginia and the eastern portion of Tennessee due to the potential of contamination with Salmonella.
Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and even sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
The recalled cheese dips are sold in plastic containers and were sold between May 15, 2020, and Aug. 6, 2020.

Kroger has removed these items from store shelves.
Customers who have purchased any product listed above should not consume it and should return it to the store for a full refund or replacement.
