Regional News

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WFXR) — Fall is almost here, which means people are getting ready for changing leaves, cooler weather, tasty treats, and harvest-time festivities, especially if you head to Dollywood!

Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, presented by Humana, runs from Sept. 24 through Oct. 30, providing family-friendly fall fun.

Meanwhile, Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights — which is presented by Covenant Health and was added to the Harvest Festival in 2017 — provides a glowing end to the evening.

Every night of the festival, Dollywood stays open until 9 p.m., allowing families more time to enjoy carved pumpkins throughout the park.

“Families will bask in the glow of thousands of intricately-carved pumpkins as they wander through displays throughout Dollywood’s Timber Canyon, Wilderness Pass and upper Craftsman’s Valley areas. Beyond the impressive displays, guests can find a number of exciting activities to create thrilling memories together,” Dollywood said in an August statement. “Performers from a number of genres provide hundreds of performances throughout the festival, while visiting artisans display their talents for guests to see. Special harvest-themed menu items from Dollywood’s award-winning culinary team also are a delight to enjoy.”
