Amber Alert issued for North Carolina infant believed to be with mother who may be heading to Virginia

CLAYTON, N.C. (WFXR) — Clayton Police Department in North Carolina issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old boy believed to be with his mother, who is wanted for murder.

Dior Singleton is believed to be with his mother, Camille Singleton, who is wanted for the murder of Inita Gaither on Thursday, Sept. 30.

Singleton was last seen driving a white 2021 Chevrolet Silverado U-Haul 2 door pickup truck with Arizona registration AL-35574.

According to police, that vehicle has recently been turned into a U-Haul dealership in Georgia via a drop box.

Other information suggests the mother could also be heading to Virginia or Arkansas.
