What will be left of Tropical Storm Ophelia will move out of Virginia by Sunday morning taking the rain and wind that reached us with it. We still have a chance this evening of periods of rain with heavy rainfall east of RT 29. Other than that, conditions will improve through the night.
The heavier rainfall may result in flooding east of RT 501 in Halifax and Charlotte counties as well as eastern VA where flood watches (indicated in green) are in effect through tonight. A flood warning (The area in red) is in place for the areas along RT 360 and I-95 until mid-evening.

Widespread rain will become isolated showers overnight. It’s likely tomorrow morning will be foggy with lows in the 50s.

Sunday afternoon will be cloudy and warmer.

Monday will be dry and a bit warmer. Tuesday through Friday look to be cool with showers.
Have a safe weekend!
