High temperatures will continue to rise across the region on Monday and Tuesday. Normal highs are in the 80s with expected afternoon highs reaching from the upper 80s to middle 90s. While hot, our highs will be well below the triple-digit highs in the central U.S.

Monday’s highs will be lower west of the Blue Ridge and hotter east.

The sky will be mostly sunny but a westerly flow may bring in some haze from wildfires in Canada.

Even with haze, the UV Index will be high to very high between noon and 4 pm.
