(WFXR) – After waiting an eternity (or so it seems), McDonald’s has announced the return of the McRib.
Starting Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, fans can flock to their local McDonalds for this savory sandwich.
On the heels of No-Shave November, McDonald’s is helping fans get ready for the return of the McRib by asking them to shave for a free McRib.
Anyone can participate, says the chain.
Here’s how it works:
- Snap a picture of your cleanly-shaven mug, baby-smooth face or eligible photo on your public Twitter or public Instagram account using #Shave4McRibSweepstakes and tag @mcdonalds
- The first 10,000 entries will receive a code for a free McRib, available via McDelivery on Uber Eats, while supplies last.
If you don’t have any scruff to shave, no problem, as the chain is also collaborating with No-Shave November – a non-profit organization devoted to fundraising for cancer awareness.
Just buy a McRib on Dec. 2 and your purchase will help support McDonalds’ donation to the charity’s cancer initiative.
